Evergreen Park RV Resort Dundee, Ohio

Evergreen Park RV Resort in Dundee, Ohio, has been on my Ohio bucket list of campgrounds for a LONG time; we just never had time to make it here. This year we made it happen on our maiden voyage with our brand new 2021 Crossroads Sunset Trail 289qb.

This campground will become one of your favorites because it is such an all-inclusive location. Let me share with you all the things I loved about this campground in Amish country!

Getting to Evergreen Park and Checking in

If you are familiar with Amish country in Holmes County, Ohio, you know that the roads are small and tight. There are Amish buggies everywhere, and if you get off the route and onto a gravel dirt road, well, you know, it isn’t too fun.

We would recommend you stay on State Routes coming here. County roads are beautiful but very stressful to navigate with a large RV or travel trailer.

Check-In:

Once you arrive, you will see the park’s sign and will pull into a large entrance. Check-in is in the lovely cabin-style office. Our check-in was easy, and I think we were the last ones to arrive because they said, “Are you the Gleason’s?” Talk about a personal welcome.

The map to your site is well marked, and navigating the park was easy. Roads within the park are well marked and wide enough for big rigs to move through.

RV/Tents: Check-in is at 3:00 pm, and Check out is 2:00 pm.

Cabins and the Inn: Check-in 3:00 pm; check out 11:00 am

Evergreen RV Resort Campsites and Set-Up

I was very impressed as we pulled in and headed toward our site. Evergreen Park RV Resort has 87 full hook-up sites with 52 pull-thru and 35 back-in. Every site was well maintained, and the park was spectacular! The roads throughout the park are rig compatible, and we had no difficulty maneuvering to our spot.

We were given site 56, which is a large site at the end of a row. This park is paved, and so each site has a blacktop pad. However, our site was not completely level, so we used some of our leveling blocks to get the unit situated.

Hook-Ups:

These are located all together on the site, and I liked how they were set up. The electric box has a light on it, so if you get in late at night, you have some assistance seeing where everything needs to go. The water pressure was good, and the hydrants are in excellent condition.

Every site here has a fire pit, picnic table, Wi-Fi, and cable tv.

I will mention that the sites here are not large and a little tight. However, this park’s cleanliness and beauty make up where I wish there were a bit more space.

Evergreen Park RV Amenities

Let’s talk about amenities because this Evergreen Park RV Resort has them!

Indoor Pool and Hot Tub

Having a pool AND hot tub are amazing features, and not many campgrounds can boast such a fantastic indoor activity! The pool is large and spacious, and the hot tub was perfect for soaking in after a day of sight-seeing.

Laundry Facility

I have to say this was the cleanest and largest laundry I have ever seen at a campground. It is open to the public.

Bathroom/Shower House

The bathhouse is spacious and has plenty of clean stalls for showers and bathroom breaks. We had hot water available for our three nights here.

Game Room

Every kid and adult loves a game room, and this one has some arcade games, a pool table, and plenty of space if the kids want to play board games!

Exercise Room

I love it when extras for me and the workout facility are a perfect addition to this park. NOTE: Keys are located in the office.

Dump Station

This was easily accessible and user friendly.

Playground, Walking Path, and Volleyball

There is plenty of things to do for kids here at the campground. They can run and play off their energy at the playground, walking path, or in a game of volleyball.

Wi-Fi

Our wifi on the first night was not working; however, they reset the system, and it has been working splendidly since then!

Putting Green

While we don’t golf, I went and looked at these sweet little putting greens. This would be a great way to spend an afternoon.

Things to Do in Amish Country and Nearby

Let me share some of my favorite things to do in Holmes County, Ohio.

You can read our 25 Things to Do in Ohio’s Amish Country for our personal go-to stops.

Hershberger’s Truck Patch

This is one place I ALWAYS make time for when we come to Amish Country! Best baked goods around.

Heini’s Cheese Chalet

They have been making cheese since the turn of the century, and it is fantastic. While you are here, you can watch them make the cheese and sample some of your favorites.

Housewares 77

This Amish shop is the real deal, and we love stopping in to get some housewares items we can’t find where we live. They have some simple living and unique things that are hard to find.

6346 Co Rd 77, Millersburg, OH 44654

Time and Optics and Birdstore

I’m a bird nerd and this shop on County Road 77 is one of my favorite stops!

My favorite places to eat:

Amish Door (only a few minutes away from RV Park)

YOU should definitely eat her while staying at Evergreen. The food is soooo good, and the bakery has some delectable treats!

Mrs. Yoder’s Kitchen

Boyd and Wurthmann’s
