Adventure screams to be had in Hocking Hills State Park and while some trails are family friendly adventures, the Whispering Cave and Hemlock Trail are for the explorer at heart. This trail will check off all the things you have on your outdoor adventure list.
Tucked away in a hidden gorge of the Hocking Hills region is a magical place with treehouses suspended in the majestic trees. These treehouses are unique in that they have been created with perfection in mind and a masterful eye towards detail. The entire landscape has been thought through by the architect to be a place where you can go to find peace, quiet and rest for your weary soul.
After spending time here learning about how maple syrup is made and the hard work that goes into it you will NEVER look at maple syrup the same again! You will savor every last drop of the maple-ly goodness!
As you enter into the cave the paved area ends so if you are in a wheel chair or using a stroller you will need to stop there to admire the beauty. The trail at this point turns into a sandy path as you walk through the cave. Being inside this area is awe inspiring, the sounds of water falling and the soft quiet of the cave cause you to pause and enjoy nature.
