It is not just Christmas trees here; it is a whole experience. Bundle up and enjoy a warm fire in the lodge, grab a snack on the weekends, and shop the store for a unique holiday ornament.
Timbuk Farm is one of Central Ohio’s oldest and largest Christmas tree farms; however, in 2004, the Gibson family took over to continue the tradition of making the holidays beautiful.
Geauga County is beautiful, and Sugar Pines Farm is nestled into one the lovely spots in NE Ohio. There is something about history that makes me smile, and this century farm is part of Ohio’s agricultural history. “Sugargrove Farm was recognized at the Ohio State Fair in August 2000 by the Ohio Department of Agriculture, The Ohio Historical Society, and Ohio’s Country Journal magazine as a Century Farm. Century Farms are those farms that have remained within the same family lineage for more than 100 years and have continued to be used for farming. We were pleased and honored to have been recognized for this special award.”
You will also find horse-drawn wagon rides on your trip here, which makes your memories even sweeter. So, pack up your crew and head to get your tree here this holiday season!
Christmas is the happiest season of them ALL! And yes, I did listen to Christmas music as I wrote these out for you. 🙂 It is a time to slow down, enjoy your loved ones, and celebrate the season. We hope your holiday is full of love, joy, and peace.
