Every year our family loves to do drive-through Christmas light shows in Ohio. However, this year it is even more important to get a complete list of the best drive-through lights in Dayton, Ohio, because of the current situation. Enjoy the best of times this holiday season.
When we go, I like to make it unique; here are some pro tips to help you make your night special.
Dress up in festive holiday cheer.
Pack some snacks, like iced Christmas cookies or Christmas candies. If you like healthy foods, grab some carrots to pretend you are Santa’s reindeer!
Take a thermos FULL of Hot Cocoa to sip as you enjoy the beautiful light displays.
Play Christmas music on your way there.
Have a grateful heart.
P.S. this is supposed to be fun, don’t yell at the kids when they spill the cocoa or crush the cookie in the car seat; it can be cleaned up.
“Forget deck the halls; we’ve decked the park with dazzling lights! You’ll wind your way through our Winter Wonderland, North Pole Car Show, Winter Farm, and Festive Festival, then wave to Santa at the North Pole. Drive through once, and you’ll want to do it again.” Greene County Parks website When it is free, you can drive through as often as you like and get all the Christmas Spirit you need.
“Be transported into a winter wonderland filled with over 60 light displays, many of which are animated! The 1.25-mile driving tour takes you through the woods, down charming farm lanes, and past the historic Knoop Homestead aglow with lights. Make this enchanted experience part of your holiday traditions.” Miami County Park District website
