Our @heartland_rv Sundance 294 BH has been a blessing as we have camped to be near our granddaughter Adaline! We’ve camped between Patapsco SP and this KOA while we have been in MD.

Every night we have been in Maryland we have eaten out with our grandson.

To start they serve popcorn with a basil Parmesan infused with truffle oil topping … our grandson ate 3 servings!

We (pepaw and I) started with bacon boa buns. #todiefor

Dinner was pork tacos, lobster mac and cheese and scallops with a risotto. We ate every bite!! #impressed

It was a casual dining experience with a delightful twist of delish and flavor infused plates.

We will definitely be back for more.

While gas prices are high right now, it is still more economical to have our RV when we are staying more than 3 nights.

This place never disappoints! Fresh wild mushrooms, wild mushroom and shrimp pasta and some farm to table filet mignon.

Marengo, Ohio

We set off for a quick overnight adventure and stayed at this campground. I will go as far to say it is the most unique campground in Ohio. Why you ask?

It’s part of Cardinal Shooting Center and you can camp and use the attached ranges. 😮

They have an indoor pool, playground, plenty of space for the kids, and the shooting sports!

It is right off of route 71 and easily accessible.

Things you can do while staying here:

Check out @ohiokoi 3.4 miles away
Shop till you drop at @tangeroutlets in Sunbury. 8.8 miles away
Take a hike at Mt. Gilead State Park 13 miles away
