Our First Backcountry Reservation

There is an adrenaline rush as you click confirm on a Rocky Mountain National Park backcountry reservation. It’s a moment when you commit to nature and to a time outside with your family. It is a culmination of preparation, planning and committing to a trip into the wild. That moment is a hopeful click, that the sites you picked are still available and the planning will stay planned.

So this short blog is to say we are sitting here eagerly waiting for the confirmation email that says congratulations, your sites are reserved.

***EDITED*** We got it and the hike and sites we wanted.

Happy Hiking,
